What is definition of Social Anxiety in Mental Health Conditions?
Social anxiety is a mental health condition characterized by a persistent fear of social situations and a strong desire to avoid them. People with social anxiety often experience intense worry and self-consciousness about being judged, criticized, or embarrassed by others. They may have difficulty interacting with others, initiating or maintaining conversations, or giving speeches or presentations. The fear and anxiety associated with social situations can often be overwhelming and interfere with daily functioning, personal relationships, and work or school performance.
